The story started off okay, but as it went on, it felt like too much was happening.
There’s ancient times, the 70s era, cultivation, apocalypse, and even space travel all mixed together. It just feels like the author tried to fit too many ideas into one story.
The female lead is super powerful and always seems to have the answers, so there’s not much excitement or challenge. While it’s cool to see her being strong, it also makes the story less interesting because nothing feels hard for her.
The world could’ve been interesting, but it gets buried under too many repeated plot points and a system that feels boring after a while.
I’m taking a break from it—it’s just not holding my attention anymore
2nd time reading it and 2nd time can’t finish it… not sure if its because of reading slump or it simply started losing its appeal after ch200+
tried skipped reading then gradually simply lost my interest… has potential.. just too many complicated side characters…
a decent story.. some plots could be clarified more deeply like the reveal of the fake-true daughter arc… yes there are buzzing flies here and there… acceptable for casual read.. more on family, building etc… somewhat confused on the black bellied title… where???😅
fine at first then all crazy neurotic shameless family members pops up… I felt the story was sabotage mid to end… not to say both FL and ML has zero EQ… it definitely has potential in terms of plot but was going nonstop downhill..😑,,
decent for a romance.. not too many hateful antagonists,, not OP FL and ML,, has family warmth,, not love at first sight,, has potential to be explored since plot details are somewhat in passing, observed general descriptions throughout the story arcs,, like when the FL debut her solo album,, there’s no description on the song and the process on songs, or specific details on her talents,, was summarized as simply as she’s good at singing and the songs are great… and the story is more focused on the dialogue… fine to read if you want to pass time or fall asleep,, slow burn… ending was sticky as candy..
