For me, some cases are described in too much detail. Not the most optimistic book, even though the hero solves all the crimes. I haven't read everything, I don't like detectives that much. But mostly it's quite interesting.
It's written quite interestingly. Sometimes with humor. The main character is not completely mean, not too stupid. A bit of nationalism.
The first chapters ~600 were interesting, then chapters 200 became a bit boring, then it leveled out a bit.
The main character is a musician-actor-comic book author + helps the police with investigations. Lots of women.
The beginning was interesting. Funny interaction of characters, humor, interesting heroes. Then cultivation, magic, hidden families, ghosts, curses began to appear. And it became a bit boring and dull. For the beginning (~250 chapters) I give 5 stars.
The beginning was great. I rate the first ~200 chapters as 5 stars. When high politics, ninjas, genetic serums started... it was a bit of a letdown, 3 stars.
I'm giving it 5 stars only because I really liked the beginning. If only the whole book was in this style...
