Absolute trash. It's one of those kind, a clear ego writing from a cn whacko where he input high nationalism. Saying some bs like how cn web novel is so famous and transcend to global and belittling jp novels as just bunch of harem slop. The mc, clearly his self insert, always joke around as if he is funny. The casts are just a peanut gallery and take all he said like npcs.

Extremely braindead plot, author got fixated and change the whole world to match that idea.

1. MC call every huyga insect cuz they dont understand his amazing beyoung visual range attack idea. Problem is that only works with hot weapons, you cant shoot an arrow 10km and expect it to hit the target, keep up the speed, retain enough force to kill a ninja and hope that ninja dont dodge with body flicker, substitution, and just move.

2. Konoha getting attack large scale? Yea right. HIdden villages are hidden. There are hardly any record of outside war reacting the village gate before akatsuki. But here somehow plot twist and bend so 5 year old MC can show off.

3. Ever present peanut gallery..... blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

4. MC so stupid he won't learn already established technique, wanna create your own path, no problem but atleast finish walking the old path and learn the technique refined over a thousand year history instead of random internet chatter form his past life. but then how could he boast 9 year compulsory small dick chinese commi brainwashing greatness over some japanese. 🙄

Very uncomfortable to read--you have a MC who cleared Dark Souls or whatever, basically max stats with full skills and everything, who somehow becomes a simp that anyone can walk over in a mundane world, treating high school students and high school teachers as if they controlled his life. He for some reason starts drawing manga, and despite it supposedly being the best, which should yield great social status and wealth, no one treats him as if he is an award-winning manga artist, and he drives a beat up little used car. Just from the way that he cowers in front of Yukinoshita is so disgusting and uncomfortable to read, like as if he was trash, and he keeps going back for more, like a retard.

A MC who is a weak-willed loser, no matter how many interesting characters or situations the author might add later into the story won't change this fact that it's just so gross to read this.

Очень разочаровывает, это оскорбление Reverend Insanity. Потому что тот кто читал оригинальный роман, тот понимает что я имею ввиду.

Перечисление:

- Враги умом не блещут(тупое и отсталое клише);

- Все довольно легко;

- Про женщин не знаю;

- ГГ постоянно упоминает какой он железный и незгибаемый из-за прошлой жизни, хотя это и так понятно;

- Жанр RPG убил это полностью, ибо все трудности перенимать система;

- Где трудности, где достижения Дао, где все то, за что читатели полюбили Reverend Insanity? Где это, ты автор-пес-пидор-мусор-гандон-умственноотсталый(я оскорбляю автора)? Где, блядь, это???!!!

Вывод: это пустая трата электричества, времени в придачу с оскорблением шедевра.

I wonder if my novel's taste is unique or something, but I feel that the story is average or even Below average. It really doesn't appeal much to me even in early part of story. But at least the pokemon theme in DD fanfic is quite good. It'll be better though if the pokemon is more anti mainstream to make the story more interesting, such as rotom, where each spirit ring can allow rotom to change in various electronic shape, such as refrigerator shape that allow MC to become food spirit master, vehicle shape that help with mobility, phone shape that allow various phone utility, etc... Plus its electric/ghost attribute can allow offensive using lightning or undead means

This is garbage, pure Chinese story slop. The author started with a garbage plotline from a cultivation novel and ignored whether it made any sense and doubled down for the rest of the plot. Even making other characters brainless in order to allow the plot to exist, I binge read a bunch for really no reason :(

I disagree with what the other reviewer said. True, it's not a perfect story, as there are some flaws in it. But this story focuses more on the growth of the characters themselves. It's not about an OP trainer with an OP golden finger and his OP trainee dominating all of Japan in just one year. It's about their struggles, efforts, and their unbreakable will to push through their predicament. I must say, the vibe of the story is more similar to the real-life events of the horses involved or the anime CinGrey. They lost, yes, but at the same time, they got back up again, and it's a good story in my eyes. Others may not agree with me, as different people have different preferences, but I still want to say that this story is worth to read. (For general audience, it's 3-4 stars)

Honestly, it’s not a bad novel. However, it strongly clashes with my personal taste and triggers a lot of my insecurities. Because of that, I’d like to warn readers who might feel the same way (no offense to those who enjoyed it).

There is a heavy focus on promiscuity. Almost every potential heroine is a dual cultivator—and if you know what that implies, you’ll understand the issue. They are neither virgins nor emotionally exclusive, often with very high body counts. The MC himself is similar in this regard.

Promiscuity, open-style relationships, and casual dual cultivation are simply not for me, so I couldn’t enjoy the story despite its other merits.

Also, karma is a thing in Cultivation, there is a reason why promiscuity is regarded as unorthodox method.
