Rating: 1.5/5— docking 1.5 point for canon mistakes and 2 points for being frustratingly bad.
The story claims Vegapunk raided Doflamingo’s SMILEs—but canonically, Vegapunk created the artificial Devil Fruit first, and Caesar later used his research to make SMILEs. Twisting this just to force “MC vs Doflamingo” drama is annoying.
The bigger problem is how the author manufactures chaos and breaks basic logic. Why does the MC need to go to Water 7 for ship repairs, or insist on Franky building it personally? Technical divisions or proper channels could handle this. CP9 acting shocked or fighting over it is absurd—canonically, they spent years on that island without incident.
And don’t get me started on Ace—MC “knowing” him and then going around bragging about it is cringe. How long is he gonna take to heal? Weeks have passed since Kaido beat him, yet he can’t fight a rookie? In this world, characters literally heal in hours. It’s one thing to create story-driven chaos; it’s another to ignore logic entirely, and this story does the latter nonstop.
...that was the longest 15 chapters of my life. That time cannot be recovered.
Needless to say, I hated those 15 chapters. I knew I hated this story from the beginning, but maybe I was naive and hoped it would turn around after some time.
Folks, when I tell you that the further along I read, the redder my cheeks became out of shame, I am not joking.
I think this author is purposefully writing badly, right? They must be. I refuse to believe otherwise.
The amount of shame, cringe, and self-loathing I experienced was immeasurable.
I just wanted to read about beast taming. That's it, I don't ask for much. The character doesn't need to be overpowered or handsome, but they have to at least be a character, right? This felt like something I could have written in elementary school.
But I suffered through those 15 chapters just so I could post this review and prevent my fellow readers from wasting their time.
There is nothing to see here. Seriously. What you read at the beginning is what you will read at the end. I only read 15 chapters, and I could tell you that much. There was no improvement, no saving this story.
It was a waste of time, and I am ashamed that I have ended up in such a state in life that I am reduced to reading this drivel.
You will only like this work if you are below 10 and have nothing better to do, I'm assuming.
i will put 3 stars!
at first i thought it would be free of bullsh*t since the author wrote that the mc would have a slow start(by synopses) Yet barely started the novel, the mc got a immortal technique and mentoring of a "old" strong dude and to make it worse, a demon sect technique!
the very BASIC trope-cliche of demon techniques is that the higher the side effect the more OP-powerful and this is exactly what he got one that directly remove the LIFESPAN something that goes AGAINST the TAO of cultivation that is becoming immortal, thus that is a PEAK demon inheritance just by it's name and EFFECT and the mc cheat makes it risk-free, super "plot convenience"!
ps:it was not a one time event that he got a "gift".
The story of the dynasty is as cliché as the biggest tr*sh you can imagine it is written like a novella drama, every cliché you can imagine it happens!
There's also the "cliché" of needing a dozen times more resources..
if the author turns him in a genius or sh*t like that, i will drop this because having a IMMORTALITY and WRITE THE ENTIRE PERSONALITY of the mc around it because he is "immortal" and making the mc NEVER need "it" , since he is always advancing fast, getting "lucky", is complete bullsh*t writing for this theme.
let's hope i'm wrong here and will not take that path.

by chapter 300, everything i wrote above more or less became true!.
Got a lot of "secret techniques" that use lifespan!
Half of the "things" he got "lucky", he did not really use, because an even bigger "lucky" showed up later to "replace".
A third of his "time" was wasted in those things he never used, mostly fighting techniques because a more OP one would be introduced that he use 1x and skip.
By the latter half, the author even forgot about basic normal stuff introduced earlier!
but most important past 300chapters it became even worse.. it went even "faster" than before with more ridiculous "lucky" that made me drop to 2 star.
The earlier part had potential.
