MC is criticizing the primitive people who have a system of thinking in a feudal society. He is analyzing and interpreting the ancient people with modern standards. How stupid do you have to be to think like this?

In ancient times, books were considered gold, or even more so, a form of knowledge passed down through generations as the foundation of a family. Albert Einstein, many of his theories were borrowed from ancient people and reinterpreted. Are you saying that he is stupid and naive for thinking that much when there is very little information available to him? If you think that way, then keep thinking. I support you and encourage you.

At first, it was good — an interesting take with the MC being part of the Hyuga main family. But as the story went on, it became frustrating. Almost every chapter, the MC and the Hyuga Clan are targeted by someone: Kumo, Mist, Root, the Kurama Clan, Obito lurking in the shadows, Orochimaru, Danzo, even Hiruzen and the Anbu.

The MC already saved Minato and Kushina, so I expected a calmer period or a timeskip arc. But no — the story keeps throwing political chaos at him, making it seem like Minato still died in the Nine-Tails incident. There’s barely any environmental or political improvement around the MC. Everyone wants him dead, and the Hyuga destroyed.

Although some chapters mention Minato strengthening his political power, in reality, the Hyuga — right in the village center — continue to face endless trouble. Over time, it becomes suffocating to read because the MC never gets a break. Even when Danzo nearly dies, Minato saves him, which honestly made me think Minato had turned into Hiruzen 2.0.

What’s worse, no other clans seem to react. Despite the Hyuga being constantly attacked, the other clans act blind and just follow Hiruzen’s lead, even with Minato still as Hokage.

Overall, it’s a fresh concept, skipping the usual Hyuga family drama. But the endless targeting, heavy political focus, and lack of progress make it exhausting to read. By chapter 110 or so, Hiruzen and his faction still practically rule Konoha, even three years after Nine Tails incident. It looks like to me author will dragging it until chapter 300ish and Danzo and Hiruzen will still alive, And when 800ish will become chunin arc, And 2000ish for Four Ninja War happened.

I’ll keep it saved to see and re-rating it if improves later, but for now, it’s just too suffocating and repetitive.

I don't care about mc ignoring Ya fei since even when watching Donghua i myself could only consider her as older sister role.... I don't know why ... (I 100% disagree with statement of Mc comparing Ya fei with internet celebrities.. that too much rubbish in one line)..

I personally dislike YunYun ... If i were xiao yan i should have killed Yun Yun and wiped out entire yun lan sect .... (My hatred for yunyun is particularly because how can she forgive someone who killed her teacher and wiped out her sect bruh.... She also fell in love with same guy who killed teacher and have too much emotional conflict.. bruh...)

Why is the system so weak... Litrelly weak... Mc even need to read 100 humongous dictionary of medical knowledge.. can't that system transfer knowledge into brain... Too much outdated and weak system

And writer don't need to mention mc doesn't care about his parents much but still be fillial , if he get a chance he will revive them.. more than 4 times until i reached chapter 35..

Left eyes - Izanagi for few seconds (but cool down is 1 year after use.)

Right eyes - Amplification, can increase any one thing like ninjustu, speed, strength for upto 10% (But can only use once a day, and only one thing at a time) Meaning if he boost his fireball then only that single fireball attack get 10% boost, not all ninjustu and after that he's out.

One of the most stupid and useless MS ability i've seen in fiction so far. Just throw out that MS and use plug and play izanagi like danzo they'd be 10x better.

(Update2: that guy does not go away after he gets caught, instead the school lets him live and the mc is foreshadowing his return. And the mc is so high profile that the school is suspicious of him improving so much and he had to be bailed out by someone else. Oh, and the mc basically forgave the people and is probably gonna befriend the people who were gonna interrogate him to reveal his golden finger.)

Mc also has an ego so he will help useless trash apprentices.

Also mc accepted sponsorship contract of 5 magic stones a month from a failing wizard family (future troubles) and they acted like they were doing mc a favor so mc owes 2 favors (1 personal and 1 for life) for that.

Any person with a brain would have offered MC way more resources since he topped the class.

Mc's wizard school is also garbage tier and trouble.

Update: MC getting targeted 24/7 and his "allies" are useless and not helping because they want to "test" him. Total BS excuse since no person without a system can advance under such ridiculous suppression.

This novel is so disgusting. Just let the family who want to cut off support just break off the contract since the MC can sell potions now anyway. Instead the MC decides to show off and stroke his own ego.

I will continue reading this when it updates because I still think it has potential, however I have my gripes with it. The text below is my review after 25 or so chapters but I’ll still stick with it now that I’m caught up to 71 chapters. MC seems to have some interesting plans at least.

Why does every one of these types of novels have to have the dao and qi and cultivation??? This is hsr (where the worldview revolves around imaginary energy and paths) and if he was from the Xianzhou I could accept it and see it as valid but this guy’s name is Hermes and he’s a Genius Society member.

I’m not asking for the author to come up with nobel prize level theories or even use sci fi stuff, I just wish they wouldn’t throw off the entire worldview that’s in place by forcefully inserting stuff that contradicts the supposedly logical genius the MC is supposed to be. It’s an actual good story but it’s immersion breaking.
