In terms of action, the MC is OP but you can't get a clear grasp of his true strength until he has beaten his opponent or when he says he is confident. There is a system which displays his spiritual pressure and zanpakuto but it's vague as there isn't much of a fully detailed explanation of his swordsmanship and zanpakuto abilities. You can say it's either good or bad because this way, there is no need to nerf the MC but you won't know if the MC is strong enough to beat stronger opponents.
Personally, I feel that the author is slightly spitting on the harem troupe because there is a sense of consequences to his behaviour as a scumbag. Some people might not like it but I think it's a very good portrayal of realistic emotions from the female characters.
There are some instances where it seems that he is forced to be a scumbag to be stronger due to the system, but the MC himself has said that the only person he loves is himself because he still feels like an alien as a transmigrator.
And, I say 'slightly' spitting because I still feel that in the end, every girl will eventually accept that he is scummy and wants to be with him, which would then start the competition on something along the lines of who will be the 'main' woman.
Story-wise, you can feel that it is slow paced, especially with the academy arc, but you need to somewhat understand that the system revolves around trying to get the favourability of specific girls and, the academy is a strong spot for the MC to capitalise on. It's immoral and slightly boring, but that's the way the story goes with how the system works.
Beginning showed a good concept but afterwards the story is about a typical yellow-haired harem protagonist. Each day, a different girl. Less on daily life fun + power building lifestyle and more to abusing acquired powers just to clear 'misunderstandings' and gain confessions or sex.
