That day, Penguin Logistics picked up a housekeeper who fell from the sky.
Since the day he was found, we have been living a life of eating well, drinking well and sleeping well every day.
Emiya: What should we cook today?
Shirou Emiya, 17 years old this year, is a magician and also a housekeeper picked up by Penguin Logistics.
Apart from some nightmares sometimes, life is pretty good.
It’s just that he seems to have gained a lot of strange titles recently…
The last conscience of Penguin Logistics
Penguin Logistics Limiter
The most wanted person by the Lungmen Guard
The Red Devil of Lungmen...and other titles that sound itchy.
Emiya: If that's all, then who is Emiya mother???
Penguin Logistics: Mother Emiya, we can't live without you! Don't be blinded by the people of the Lungmen Guard Bureau!
Lungmen Bureau: We also want to eat Mother Emiya's cooking every day! Defeat Penguin Logistics and let Mother Emiya regain his freedom!!!
Emiya: The people here are so strange.
Anyway, this is about Shirou Emiya's daily life after he was hit in the face by the Holy Grail and came to the Terra continent, with the main venue being Arknights.
Its somewhat interesting but frustrating, for me. I like his strongest disciple, the dog, and how it gets its opportunities, and I understand why the MC doesn't favor his human disciples, but its a bit too bitter for me when they get constantly kicked and trashed while theyre down, even if its somewhat deserved.
They ignored the treasure MC gave them, so they get what they deserve, but pretty much everything else afterwards is a constant down hill for them, where they dont even get scraps left by the MC and his dog to improve.
The contrast is too forced and bitter that I cant find myself to enjoy it. His human students are clearly taken from other series but as underdogs, i would enjoy it more if they actually managed to get stronger and achieve their goals, but still get suppressed and is weaker than a dog, both in strength and potential.
Its one thing to toss away their golden opportunity and let the dog gain it instead, and have them regret it, but its another thing to have them lose massive lifespan or become crippled and nothing to show for it. Its too big of a contrast, and not really funny if that was the goal. I'd rather it be comedic but its just pathetic and frustrating to read about his human students.
Pretty good, Naruto can travel between the Naruto world and Hitman Reborn world. The relation between Naruto and the Hitman Reborn characters are interesting and the plotline is adjusted to be new, so I enjoy it, but the Naruto world is a lot more boring, and not as interesting since the plotline isnt adjusted as much.
I want to enjoy it, and its relatively decent, but its far too slow, personally. I enjoy the filming chapters, but for every 1 filming chapter, its followed by 5 slice-of-life/slow burn, or even filler, chapters. It bogs down the progress so much, that you have to be seriously invested to actually keep reading. Currently 152 chapters in, and its his 2nd movie (technically 3rd thing hes working on, 2 movies and a TV show). It starts off with TYPE-MOON IPs and branch to others, but going to be honest, I've read similar novels with better execution and end goals.
I've actually read this on another site, about 500 chapters, and I think it should be close to 4 stars. However, the relatively subpar translation and the unreliable narrator makes it hard to read in the early parts. If you can get through that, I think its an interesting and humorous take this sort of novel. Its primarily set in the world of Bakuman, and the protagonist takes the role of even bigger, quirky weirdo/genius mangaka, even compared to Eiji Niizuma. The protagonist is basically a mangaka version of Rintaro Okabe/Hououin Kyouma from Steins Gate, who can be very weird and even cringe, but i thought it was pretty funny. I will definitely re-read this, but recalling the story, its progression is relatively reasonable in terms of the MC'S ability as a mangaka, romance, time passing, and character relations. The romance is actually a high point (but not the focus) and works well into learning why the MC is kinda crazy and weird. Its not perfect, but there are a lot of running jokes that can be enjoyed if you stick with it.
Pretty boring and stale, but not totally generic. The manga choices are neat, but the characters and world are pretty bland and not interesting. The conflicts and motivations arent really compelling and its also not funny despite the comedy tag. Maybe it gets more interesting later on, but I've decided to stop reading for now
Quite good at first, but getting less interesting, especially midway, where author puts too many chapter on OC arc that doesnt work well. Author slowly makes MC's overpowered while making him less interesting (motivations are changed and become boring) and focusing on harem. 4 or 5 for the first 150 chapters, 3 or 2 for 150-200. Will adjust as I progress.
