The idea was super good. Unfortunately the writing is incredibly stale feeling. Moreover the Mc is incredibly self righteous, which is a consistent problem with Douluo Fanfiction. They always try to whitewash the Mc and blacken either tang San, bibi Dong or some other characters. In this one he doesn't really try to blacken tang San, but the most recent chapters (available 2 ahead on 69shuba) are a prime example where he starts a completely unjustified bashfest against the silver dragon king for literally no reason lol. She approached him quite humbly asking if he wanted to cooperate and he begins verbally bashing her with made up bullcrap to make himself seem like a good guy for not wanting to partner with her. It reminds me of those cultivation novels with the evil Buddha or rigid orthodox cultivator that'll wipe out a whole village to kill a single criminal and boast about being the good guy while calling anyone who goes against their behavior an evil criminal.
I wish I could like it, but the way he interacts with women has turned me off to this novel twice. All the women in this novel act like dominant seductresses while he acts like a passive helpless little lamb. Everything else is okay, but that whole dynamic basically ruined the novel for me.
I would say it's pretty good. We rarely see him fight which kinda sucks. He's a little too arrogant and nonchalant. Ex: to make the plot more I tetesting, sometimes the author will make him ignore super obvious and important things by saying 'he didn't have time to think about it' or 'he would just think about it later'. Like national secret level stuff just shrugged off as meh.
Garbage. It's just a badly written romance novel. Besides that Mc completely sacrifices his cultivation for some made up reason that doesn't exist besides in authors mind. If you're looking for slice of life, crappy romance, mc who nerfs himself for dumb reasons then this novel is for you.
It's pretty good, there's a lot of filler tho which is kind of annoying. If it continues at this rate, the story will be 1000 chapters long and we all know that those kind of stories are almost always rushed at the end with the author trying to sqqueze a hundred chapters of information into 5 chapters.
Honestly, it could've been really good, unfortunately the author simply focused on the wrong things. The Mc completely thinks with his lower head and every action he takes is about a woman. He has the same dual spirit configuration as Huo Yuhao, with spirit eyes and a blank second martial soul ( one that can form any attribute martial soul) logically, he should wait until he's strong and choose a powerful attacking soul beast to complement his mental power eye martial soul like dark gold dreadclaw bear or some dragon variation, instead he chooses the blue silver emperor. Why? Cause he wants ah yin, as if he can't have her without making her a martial spirit. I've only read 16 chapters and I can already tell that the whole novel is going to be chasing booty without concern for logic or reason.
Meh, the storyline is okay but the Mc is completely reckless and hasn't died yet only due to plot armor. For example, as a soul douluo he tried to charge into the core area of the star dou great forest and was only saved by heavily dream ice silkworm. This kind of thing is basically a common theme throughout the novel. He does someing stupid and reckless, he gets saved by outside forces after thinking he's going to die and then he gains something from the act of attempted suicide. Rinse and repeat. As of chapter 170 this has happened at least 8 times, thought it would be more if you count the times where the consequences was only being crippled instead of death. So while the novel isn't bad per se, the personality of the Mc is just completely brainless and relies completely on luck to survive.
The novel was okay, Mc dragged things out for way too long and put too much value into his promise to Mito imo. He and kushina went through a lot of danger for a promise to a dead woman. She basically made him promise not to hurt konoha in any way, so he could only passively accept a beating from the konoha F4 and could only retaliate in minor ways. Imo, your word is important, but it's not nearly as important as your and your families wellbeing. This promise and his stubbornness to keep it added to much nonsense, repeat filler to the novel. Forced him to use politics. As for the people saying the hatred he recieved from the Uchiha is unrealistic, I disagree. An ancient Japanese clan that deeply prides itself on its ancestry, honor and bloodline limit would definitely treat the son of a 'traitor' and a criminal like garbage. In ancient Japan, the Clan would have straight up killed the kid from what I know about Japanese culture where collective honor is super important.
