It's a good premise and interesting but it has strange priorities like live broadcasting and the plot wanders all over and even the title indicates something that we've only seen hinted at

Too much garbage - ranking lists, school, hiding identity, tournaments, face slapping. First 40 chapter are only 10 or so in an actual world

So far it is the most well-paced slow and steady grinding novel I've ever read. No bullshit tier jumping and all the traces he finds combined together make his power stronger. My only complaint is that he is alone 99% of the time, no lovers or subordinates (slaves don't count). I get that he's cautious but he could easily support a family or an organization pretty early on

Starts out strong and interesting but after the second dream it's like another book and completely loses direction

Not badly written but murdering everything and everyone with very little reason gets dull
