Setting is good but then author suddenly decides to go the most shitty routes i have seen after getting out of city. it just doens't sit well. I was honestly hoping for a demon vs human brutal world but it became a cringe ass family drama where he suddenly participates in one of his friend's family competition, it's exactly as bad as it sounds. That friend apparantly promises him something which is rare while his own clan in that family is getting fucked so yeah he doens't get shit, it was just a excuse for author to create this bad story. And then they all had to run away from that family too cause entire family tries to kill them cause they would have gotten it otherwise. Basically the whole beginning section which attracted me was gone and I was left generic ass novel. You can literally tell whats gonna happen the moment a plot starts and it will happen exactly that way cause there is very little imagination. This is the most unplanned novel i have seen. It's a bunch of disconnected shit. The worst is system, in beginning 1 point increases his strength by 1 layer of his martial arts then he upgrades the system and it becomes 200 points for 1 fucking layer. How is that even a fucking upgrade. It's a degraded system. Fuck this novel, can't believe this tricks you like this after that beginning.

It's not a total simulation novel. It's simulation but also he interferes in real world. The balance is quite good But story is boring

Okay this is an interesting blend. The main character is completely insane and sort of schizo, it's not said explicitly but you know he is cause one day he is killing even infants from an enemy factions but at other time, he works hard to make lives of commoners better. Story wise, it's average throughout with some down but one arc gets nailed by author, it's also the arc where he has his most improvements. World building is very little, characters are fine too, the power system is completely broken however. Like grandmaster was a relam top people have but later on, they are cannon fodders but if that's the case then control of different won't make sense so now all of those old forces also have that new relam people. 90% of novel is just him fighting, like it's probably not an exaggeration so it gets boring many times cause you skip tens of chapters and it will still be fine cause story isn't much anyway. Author is also self aware of what his character is cause he gets constantly challenged and then gives the most dog shit response to justify it. I think he is shutting off the comments with them but in some, he just completely agrees with insanity which main character spouts. Author has a festish and you will see it throughout the novel.

It's a joke novel, don't take it seriously or anything. The entire gimmick is that he can't get hurt by a demon, literally its impossible for them to hurt him. That's the main gimmick. And it's not even good at that, same old routine You can't take shit seriously cause novel itself doesn't take anything seriously. One second author will say everything works according to rule in demon slaying division and next chapter, people in power are making ridiculous rules like only our main character can't use weapons and shit but everyone else can. Come on, follow through your statement for like 5 chapters atleast. There is bunch of dumb things in this novel which just doesn't make sense. So they put a martial arts in low level area and apparantly 9/10, people who follow that end up burning themselves and other 1/10 end up with broken meridian so why the fuck would anyone put that shit in that section. It doesn't make a iota of sense. Main character is also always saying over the top things for comedy which really doens't land

The school aspect is as cringe as it can be. It's a novel where main character just acts cool and let others disrespect him over and over. Everyone is so dumb. Like a guy comes and everyone else is saying he is a perfect realm of some skill but he won't believe it. Bro you aren't even close to as strong as them so why do you think they will lie for main character. This is such a dumb way to start a fight. I wish it was a good novel but it's just main character acting cool everywhere.

It's probably one of the best in this genre. Main character is ruthless and smart. He gets the job done rather than talking for like 10 fucking chapters. There is no system but he does benifits when he suppresses the Dao childs of that world. Main character is brutal, I mean not a monster but a villain indeed. i honestly started rooting for other party in middle of story. Mf scams a kid. I think the biggest turn of this novel would be villain mc with zero reasons to like him. Like fang yuan, he was a villain but he was also fairly likable. This guy is just villain so I will pass.
