This novel is deeply problematic. What could have been an entertaining cultivation story quickly turns into a disturbing piece of nationalist propaganda and cultural stereotyping. The most offensive element is the depiction of the “Great Sun” faction — clearly modeled after Imperial Japan. Characters are named Inoue, Yamamoto, Watanabe, and Hayashi, and they are portrayed as bloodthirsty, dishonorable, and eager to commit mass slaughter. They mock the rules of war, calling them “dog crap,” and celebrate massacres with no moral conflict or complexity. I don’t have a problem with violent or cruel enemies in a story — that’s part of war in any fantasy setting. What I do take issue with is using a real-world culture, lightly disguised under fictional names, to create a hateful caricature. This isn’t just lazy writing; it’s cultural vilification. The “enemy” isn’t a well-developed faction — it’s a dehumanized stereotype, evil by nature and deserving of destruction. The author tries to excuse this through fantasy names like “Great Sun” and “Great Qing,” but the racial and historical parallels are too blatant to ignore. Creating a fictional world doesn’t give a free pass to inject real-world racism into the story.

This novel is nonsense. The author uses artificial and illogical suppression to slow down the main character’s growth. When the MC reaches the peak of the first realm, instead of breaking through to the second realm, he wastes time cultivating more techniques from the first realm—for what? He even claims it's to gain the “power of the second realm” while staying in the first. That’s just dumb. Wouldn’t it make more sense to break through immediately, gain the power of the second realm naturally, and progress from there? With the time he's wasting on first realm techniques, he could have already reached the mid or late stage of the second realm, maybe even perfected it and started to break through the third realm ?. But no—the author deliberately holds him back with pointless detours just to avoid rapid progress. It’s frustrating, illogical, and clearly done to stretch the story. Terrible writing choice.

This story had real potential, but it quickly turns into a mess of emotional overreaction, poor logic, and unrealistic character behavior. The hero becomes overly emotional and sensitive to the point of being unrealistic. He’s portrayed as someone who has seen the world’s darkness and betrayal—yet he behaves like a naive child. He trusts too easily, forgives too quickly, and sacrifices himself for people he barely knows. First, there’s a friend he’s known for just six months who obtains a rare Heaven and Earth Essence. The hero, though stronger and needing it too, risks his life to save him—and doesn’t even try to compete for it. That same “friend” later tries to assassinate him just to hide that he got the essence, and the hero still forgives him. That’s not noble—it’s just bad writing. Then there’s another friend who disappeared for five years. When the hero finds him crippled, he offers help—but the friend mocks him, accuses him of being fake, and compares him to elite heirs who ruined him, even though the hero is just a poor outsider. Instead of walking away, the hero breaks down crying like a child rejected by his father. Over someone he barely knew for a year. Why? If that wasn’t enough, early in Foundation Building, the hero fights seven Foundation Establishment cultivators, including two mid-stage with Zifu incarnations—just to help a woman he once saved. She’s not a lover, wife, family member, or even a close friend. It’s ridiculous and the reason is weak at best. To top it off, the story constantly shields the hero with “plot armor.” He survives thanks to a sudden, unexplained power tied to some vague conspiracy. It all feels forced, lazy, and emotionally hollow. The hero is written to seem wise, but acts with blind emotion and no common sense. The story sacrifices logic just to glorify him. Very disappointing.

Harem, The whole story of the harem is about the MC and how to save the harem and travel with him, any problem happens she will find a new woman (of course one of the most beautiful of the ten) and will fall in love with him then kill him in the simulation then save him in another simulation As for the MC, she saved me she is not bad?!?! What is this nonsense?? Didn't she kill you before in another simulation?? Nonsense novel don't waste your brain cells on it, it's all about how the MC gathers his harem and has enemies out of nowhere he kills the small one then the big one comes and another big one after him, huge powers that have nothing to do with him become his enemies just like that for no apparent reason. There is also a recurring plot of nonsense novels, on a journey he finds a woman in danger and has powerful enemies, he comes and intervenes to save her, why?? You can say he helped her because he needs money, yes he needs money but there are a thousand ways to get money and not offend enemies for no reason, so why would he save it to get a little money and make enemies that he will need to multiple the money to defeat them??? What is the point then??!! And why is it that every time he goes out, one of the ten most beautiful girls appears and befriends him and falls in love with him??!! Also the energy system changes and he starts to be charming and charming.... Nonsense 0/10 star if i can
