I wouldn’t say this is a bad novel but the most interesting part of it to me was the summoning portions. Once the Mc got strong enough to fight powerful enemies on his own the need to summon people to fight for him because less and less. The beginning of the story is exciting and interesting because of all the summons but as the story progresses it’s get really boring because the Mc is the one fighting most of the time

Like someone already said this is a misleading title and description. This novel is not about devouring to become stronger but a god/incense/believers novel.

Characters don’t die. Mc talk about killing them constantly but doesn’t actually kill anyone.

Mc constant need for vigilante activities and keeping a low profile ruined the story for me. Especially when be became so powerful he could establish himself openly at around 200+ chapters. The comedic undertones also kills this novel.
