How delicious. I had a craving for sci-fi novels with advanced technology and cosmic wars, and this fulfilled it! The plot is a little fast, and seems to lack cohesion. A lot of things are not explained in the beginning, and because the book is barely 400 chapters long, it remains unclear till the end. If feels like a squished version of a much much longer book, and boy would I not like to read that.. It is a decent read.

Very long. I don’t know what happened in the last two chapters, the author packed as much plot as is worth a few hundred chapters. Let’s ignore the abrupt ending for a moment. The MC has a power that allows world hopping. MC uses said powers to travel to different worlds. The plot progresses linearly, there are no obvious bloopers. Be prepared for a slow and long haul. MC is slightly OP, is not temperamental, thinks before acting and plans in advance. The plot doesn’t randomly arrange tragedy in order to make the MC grow, another plus point. No romance. It was an enjoyable read. Would have been full marks if the author had taken the effort to properly write the ending.

The concept is interesting. The MC inherits a super advanced scientific technology library after a book hit him in the head in a library. Then he goes on to set up a company and eventually surpasses the technology level on earth. The plot is realistic, the flow is well paced, the reactions of other people and countries is also pretty believable. There is nationalism, but the country more or less acts a background character. The MC has cheats, but doesn’t soar to the sky in one go. He still has to work hard to research and turn the blueprints in his head into reality. Read till Ch 752. Went off a weird trajectory from there, the MC being abducted by aliens and separated from his family and what not.. Lots of nationalism, but it was not unpleasant, unlike some other works where they act like licking dogs, pandering to the authorities. Consistent but slow plot pace. One thing that I couldn’t relate to was how the FMC was portrayed. The two of them liked each other in chapter 2, fell in love in a jiffy and got married at a young age. Also, they gave birth to a child. Probably the only blemish in the book till Ch 752. I really don’t get what they see in each other, and the book doesn’t do a good job describing it. Very enjoyable till Ch 752. I’m going to pretend nothing exists after that. PS: Turns out, apparently, the author had to cut off the world war 3 plot and let the MC be kidnapped because of the control of Chinese authorities over online literature.. Maybe they did not like how China was portrayed in the plot.. That’s a shame, I really liked how it was going. Now that I think about it, I was really looking forward to the harem scenario. It’s a shame that even till Ch 752, there’s no sign of it.
