Well written, especially the political and diplomatic aspects. I wish battles were written better and more in depth to immerse in it, but it was above. Overall recommended.
High quality historical fantasy drama of a boy rising in the ranks of officialdom and fighting against the curropt Ming dynasty system and the enemies that want to rip it apart for themselves.
It's refreshing the hundred or so chapters, but later it devolves into a generic repetitive xianxia.
After the Queen arc ends, it gets stale and I dropped it.
The system is not the main focus and medicine is used as a tool to glorify the protagonist.
It's a fun read, but there is obvious misogyny and later on racist remarks, making it feel like a generic urban novel. I dropped it when "ChinaNumbaWan" became too annoying.
