Traveling through the Douluo World, Qing Huan constantly felt that no matter the protagonist's character, achievements, or opportunities...even the original characters themselves, none of this had anything to do with him.
Coming to this new world, having been given a life for nothing, yet fixating on the protagonist was too narrow-minded.
There were so many fascinating things in this new world. Find something you're fascinated by and pursue it relentlessly, even if it means death.
Qing Huan didn't particularly want to be associated with the original characters, but the reality seemed to indicate otherwise...
I like it, the protagonist is scheming so that the Witch Tribe changes their fate of being a pawn of the Heavenly Dao, he's also not unreasonable and bloodthirsty.
The plot is reasonable so far, the Anti elements (Tang San, Yu Xiaogang) has been reasonably explained with no forceful emotions going through, the reasons why the protagonist is against them is explained.
The Heaven Dou plot is also logical, with no suddenly meetings with key characters on the forest while hunting for Spirit Rings, or bumping into them while shopping, etc.
The steps the protagonist took to get where he is, is logical and believable.
Great! Amazing! Love how humanity advances along with the protagonist, its not just him being OP and slaughtering everything. There is gradual progress that is believable and no unreasonable power-ups.
Great! I love how progressive the protagonist is, he's not afraid of messing up the timeline and takes full advantage of his ability. What's also great is his awareness on how his actions affects the River of Time, which is very capable of him.
Very good read! I love fics like this where the protagonist participates in the world, not just experiencing it like in a stage play but truly living in the world they are in.
I can't really tell if he's really optimizing his Martial Soul and Soul Rings, but I took a quick look to Kindred's lore, and as a personification of Death it's Soul Skills are lackluster.
