Fun mid length story, there's a surprising amount of interesting plot and mystery among all the fluff (literally from theanimal-shaped abyss lords and gods under the MC). Btw I found there's an official english translation till around 100 chapters. All the mysteries are explained in a coherent plot, it’s been great so far. The Abyss lord cats are fun characters, I’m surprised author managed to make almost 30 characters so distinctly I actually remember them.
Great historical novel, MC is a native with a system but he starts as a farmer child during the beginning of the fall of the Han Dynasty, which makes his beginnings hell mode. Very good writing, its realistic but not gory, looking forward to how he rises in the chaotic era and becomes Emperor.
Finally it’s here! This is the actual sequel of Swallowed Star by IET, set in Origin Continent with Luo Feng and his Chaos Beast that was the last main antagonist of the first SS. It’s still early in terms of chapter length but it’s as good as ever, highly recommend for SS fans. They made a neat animated movie series of the first SS series too if you like those.
Chapter 1311, near the end of the newest arc at time of reading. Good but repetitive, no stress reading with quick gratification, no harem or overly stupid characters, or atleast long lasting ones.
It's very plain in terms of plot, MC not fighting is interesting but the lack of actually interesting plot events or even other characters make this easily forgettable, atleast in the first 200 chapters.
This is a fantastic medieval age kingdom building novel with plenty of war, politics and economics, plus a little cheat via system improved experience points for everyone under the MC that allowed for fast growth. It’s great, and set in absolutely fictional setting, not just fake names but using current countries so I’m not sure where the outrage of low ratings comes from. The “black” barbarians aren’t referring to Africans any way you cut it, it’s just a an easy descriptor for one of the foreign tribes they conquer, and not treated any better or worse than all other conquered tribes, MC aims to rule all and progress society overall so that’s honestly great. Ppl shouldn’t attach real world issues just because of the word ‘black’, author did a good job making everything fictional, I didn’t feel any Chinese ppl is better theme at all, its been a fee hundred chapters and the main theme is how ‘nobility and God’ is superior to all, same as medieval times, with the MC screwing a lot of those nobles and clergies to promote ‘common blood’ as a new power backing him up. If you like realistic fights, political backstabbing like in olden Europe, I highly recommend giving this a try!
