One of the reasons I loved desolate from IET was that there basically none of these Chinese tropes but this author filled it with it. Second, I honestly hate systems. The mc basically just needs to make a wish and boom his cultivation or comprehension skyrockets. Everything is truly undeserved

Pure trash honestly! Sparing the death sovereigns life because he is now stronger than her so there is no reason to kill her when she ultimately did everything in her power to kill you is just pathetic! And overall this novel is boring asf!

What bothers me is him constantly hiding his power. Why I loved most about IET novels is he didint include “the hiding your strength for no reason bs”! And the romance… author for god sake if you can’t write romance properly why write it all then, you truly suck at it no cap! And for the finishing, the “Little sister trope” I don’t even get it how are they siblings they are hundreds of years apart in terms of age. We have no background on her she’s just there with no role to play. And again what I loved about IET books is that he didn’t include the Chinese bs tropes that we all hate. And now this fanfic author flows them with it. Don’t destroy a masterpiece by inserting your flaws in it sigh…
