I really, really, really enjoyed this. The personalities of both the MC and the heroine are totally my type.

Yun Qing is mature and knows exactly what to do to win Lu Yao’s heart. He’s thoughtful and considerate in everything he does, understands how to treat her, and slowly, little by little, makes his way into her heart.

As for Lu Yao, she’s a mature and rational woman on the outside, but deep down she has a childish, clingy, and spoiled side that she only shows to Yun Qing. Once they officially start dating, she even enters what Yun Qing calls “Night Light Mode”, extremely sweet and clingy.

Coming from a broken home, she’s deeply pessimistic about love, and growing up without enough affection made her long for a place she can truly call “home”. In the end, Lu Yao finally finds that “home”, a place where she can rest, be herself without holding back, and receive love. She also gains someone who truly loves her, protects her, and pampers her.

The romance is also written really well. It takes over 300 chapters for their relationship to become official, making it a true slow burn. Even though it takes a long time, the romance before they get together is just as sweet as when they finally start dating.

I highly recommend this to fellow daoist friends who love slow-burn romance. Don't worry, even though it's a slow burn, the story stays sweet long before Yun Qing and Lu Yao officially become a couple.

WAITER, MORE PLEASE!!!

This is EXACTLY the kind of depiction of love I need. Both ML and FML are adults, in their late 20s/early 30s even!!! They know what they want and how to communicate. The novel is very lowstake but each PDAs make me blush and even tear up.

There is a problem with a lot of romance novels where they weirdly require some kind of earth-shattering moment for the 2 to fall in love. Nah, we don't do that here. This is a gradual build-up of trust, THEN love. The ML even admits, he didn't love or even distrust love at first. And it is ok!!! It is his character's arc to understand that love is something that just comes.

He starts really slowly, which doesn't help that my man is a massive tsundere. But he understood her efforts and let himself be flirted with. I have to say, he is the few who doesn't understand love, but once he is IN love. Boy... his love is as deep as the Mariana Trench. His few months of love are comparable to her 10 years of love.

I really like the FML too. You might think it is unrealistic, but I like the way she explains herself. Sometime god gives a person a chance, so they have to use it. And that is her. It was a very random chance, and she took it, flirted the SHIT out of our tsundere ML. She didn't take his love for granted. Oh no, my girl WORKS her ass off.

Like she said, "Give me the chance to make you fall in love with me". What surprised me was, there was really a chance he didn't feel the same way back (regardless of the tags). It was believable in the novel. And if he seriously didn't return the feeling, she is definitely mature enough to accept that sometimes it fails.

Even with the old love rivals, the FML and the rival are very mature about it. No cat-fight. Just two adults loving the same person, but one won.

If I could give it a 10*, I would love to.

•MC does not contain his cultivation in previous life transmigration is normal.MC is slow in cultivation because of hogwash reason.

•Harem tag is an indication of novel becoming bad in later stages.

The girls in the story are clearly dumb, it says they are super talented and deserve the position as captains or commanders but they are just disrespectful and only win thanks to the overpowered ships, also if the girls do bad things like leona on chapter 800 against the demons it just fault of the guys that were with her not her fault directly, so she will not receive the punishment she deserve, is a constant in the story, zhao chen gives too much power to others so the only relevant power he holds is the one as a dispenser of new technology that isnt his technology but the system tech. AND KILL ANNE AND XUE XIANXIAO, ANNE WAS SAVED AND HER ENTIRE SPECIES WAS SAVE TOO, AND SHE RECEIVE BILLIONS OF MONEY AS SHIPS AND ENTIRE PLANETS IN EXCHANGE OF JUST A NORMAL WORKING SCHEDULE, SHE UNGRATEFUL. XUE XIANXIO JUST COME AND SHOUT "ATTACK!!!" AND JUST LIKE THAT SHE IS SO TALENTED AND DESERVE A T4 OR T5 SHIP, NOT A PROBLEM THE PROBLEM IS SHE DOESNT HAVE MANNERS LIKE OTHERS GIRLS. TIRED OF THIS SIDE OF THE STORY AND THE GIRLS PERSONALYTIES, I will continue because I am too advanced to leave it but man i would have love this story if the girls were more bearable.

Main universe is HSR, and some travel to other anime universes. These travels for the most part are okay, some go on for a bit too long and can be skipped completely. Just read the last 2-3 chapters of that universe to understand the power-ups that the MC brings back. Otherwise, this is an enjoyable read. There is yuri and MC becomes a succubus-like later on.

OK... so there are some issues...

# The MC (or maybe the author) doesn't have ANY financial sense... He ONLY goes to ONE SINGLE MERCHANT for EVERYTHING!! (And then complains about being ripped off repeatedly...)

# The MC has no ability to PLAN for his future... Example: He finds out(and should have already known!) that every tier he goes up his stats double what they were previously... He has the ability to independently raise his stats cheaply and easily, but instead he just blindly keeps tiering up.

# They should NOT call these 'skeleton mages' mages... they are more like artillery... literally using firecracker bombs and then missiles???

# He has the ability to dig up graves as long as they were buried with a coffin at which point the corpse buried becomes his LOYAL slave... yet he doesn't immediately go out and buy a big batch of cheap coffins and bury his kills himself...

This guy is utterly UNSUITED to be an intelligence based class...

So, read with your brain turned off.
